I finally got fed up with the wipers on my 607 enough to do something about it.
Normally I slosh some luke warm water on the windscreen to get it de-iced, but what happens with the 607 is that this is fine for about 20 minutes but then I hit the motorway and the wipers freeze solid. The arms sweep okay but all the joints in the blade freeze up so the the blade only touches the glass at the ends.
So half way to work I try and clean the windscreen and I just can't see a thing, and I really, really hate that.
Anyway I have found a way to fit Bosch flat blades to it which have no moving parts, though I have had to rock the wiper motor frame back a bit to increase the pressure of the arms on the glass.
Haven't had a cold journey since but I'm hopeful.
